¿What is the IPAC?

The IPAC is a private Peruvian institution, not a trades union or professional society, which is run on a not-for-profit basis. It specializes in and represents the economic sector involved with alpaca and the camelids in general. It creates, coordinates and develops technical proposals for the advance and competitiveness of the sector, with emphasis on: markets; technology; enterprise; organization; natural environment; biodiversity; and genetics. It seeks to overcome, on the basis of efficient articulation of production, the imbalance existing between the different participants which make up the production chain for alpaca and other camelids.
