PNTP 231.301 - Fiber of classified Alpaca
Object
The present Norma Peruvian Technique(NTP) has for object to establish the definitions, the classification for groups of qualities, requirements and the labeled of the Alpaca fiber, this way; like to determine the sampling method and the test methods to verify the requirements.
Application Field
Ésta Norma Peruvian Technique is applied to the commercialization of the fiber of alpaca for qualities, taken place in the one Perú.Definitions
- Fiber of alpaca.- It is the hair that covers to the alpaca, (Lama pacos), it comes from two races, Huacaya y Suri. These races have different aspects and they present the basic following colors: white, beige, coffees, gray and black, those that have diverse tonalities and combinations in turn.
- Classification plant.- Local that counts with areas dedicated to the manual work of classification of the Alpaca fiber by qualities and natural colors.
- Fineness.- The diameter or grosor of the fiber, expressed in microns, being but I die as much as minor is his diameter.
- Alpaca baby.- It is the group of qualities of Alpaca fiber whose micronaje is same or smaller that 23 µm and its longitude mínima (average) is 65 mm.
- Alpaca fleece.- It is the group of qualities of Alpaca fiber whose micronaje is understood between 23,1 µm and 26,5 µm and its longitude mima (average) it is of 70 mm.
- Alpaca medium fleece.- It is the group of qualities of Alpaca fiber whose micronaje is understood between 26,6 µm and 29 µm and its longitude minima (average) it is of 70 mm.
- Alpaca huarizo.- It is the group of qualities of Alpaca fiber whose micronaje is understood between 29,1 µm and 31,5 µm and its longitude mima (average) it is of 70 mm.
- Alpaca gruesa.- It is the group of qualities of Alpaca fiber whose micronaje is bigger than 31,5 µm and its longitude mima (average) is of 70 mm.
- Alpaca corta.- It is a group of qualities of Alpaca fiber whose longitude is from 20 mm to 50 mm.
Groups of qualities.- They are combined of fibers that range of fineness and longitude fluctuate in oneself giving origin to sub different qualities.
- Ccopa (garbage).- Vegetable impurity constituted mainly by straw, leaves, etc.
- K’arca (dirt).- You leave hardened and/or burned in the tips of the fleece by impregnation with fat, excrements, urines, blood and muds or for the application of medicinal substances.
- Fat.- Strange element, result of cures made the animal, contaminating the fleece with dirty fat or burnt oil.
- Earth.- It is the impurity that is usually present in all the fleeces, for the contact of the animal with their habitat.
- Taco.- Contamination with the earth of the origin place that is impregnated in the fleece and/or color clay with which the fleeces are marked in certain parts.
- Painting.- You mark applied with non capable paintings on the hair of the Alpacas.
- Other sludges.- Left strange elements to the animal, as fiber of other species that are not Alpaca, leathers, tails, synthetic (polipropileno) fibers, etc.
- It shrinks.- It is the sum in weight of all the sludges.
- It not shrinks quantifiable.- It is this way the whole impurity that is not possible grief, as the fine powder and fluff that he/she goes being in the infrastructure of the classification plants, like the humidity.
Classification
For the classification for groups of qualities of the Alpaca fiber will be kept in mind the following approaches: * For the fineness, selected manual and visual according to the micronaje of the fiber, for qualified personnel. * For the longitude, selected manual and visual for the long of the fiber, being able to obtain long or short fiber, for qualified personnel. * For the color, selected manual and visual of the different tonalities of the basic natural colors, for qualified personnel.
